Join a local conversation about agritourism and farm diversification we’re hosting in partnership with Alberta Farm Fresh Producers Association (AFFPA).
Across Alberta, more farms are exploring ways to welcome visitors, from farm tours and U-pick experiences to on-farm events, food experiences, and direct-to-consumer opportunities. For some operations, agritourism is becoming a way to generate additional income, share the story of agriculture, and connect with the community.
This will be a relaxed, round-table style conversation where producers can:
Learn about agritourism trends across Alberta
Hear examples from farms already welcoming visitors
Share ideas and questions about diversification opportunities
Help identify next steps for agritourism in the region
You don’t need to be currently offering agritourism to attend, curiosity and perspective are welcome.
